The Physical Performance Hub is focussed on providing a multi-disciplinary approach to physical performance. Through tailored strength and conditioning programs, sports therapy, and sports psychology support we have created a hub where athletes can access a range of services under one roof, giving you the opportunity to enhance your overall performance and well-being.
Meet the Team

Jordan Tyrer
Physical Performance Coach
Jordan has been working in professional football since 2014. He has worked in Premier League, English Football League, Women’s Super League and Women's Championship Clubs and Academies, as well as The F.A. In 2020, Jordan started The Physical Performance Coach Ltd. to bring those experiences and knowledge to anyone who needs help with optimising their performance. Having helped hundreds of athletes of all ages over the last decade, Jordan is highly experienced and offers a wide range of services from 1-to-1 S&C sessions, bodyfat assessments, growth and maturation testing, GPS analysis and more.

Nikki Bates
Sports Rehab & Massage
Nikki first got into her profession through struggling to overcome a back injury and graduated in Sports Rehab rather than Physiotherapy. Through working in professional rugby and within the military she’s discovered gaps in return to play protocols with higher level athletes where standard physio treatments often fail.
The mentorship of England rugby’s Dave O’Sullivan has provided Nikki with an alternative approach to traditional methods and added further skills to her tool belt such as blood-flow restriction training, co-ordinative and motor output testing.

Francesca Dean
Trainee Sports Psychologist
Fran has been working in professional football since 2016. Having first started work at Southampton Football club, Fran then joined AFC Bournemouth in 2018 and has been there ever since, helping players across all ages of the academy and supporting their development. She is about to complete her PhD in Sport Psychology at the University of Bournemouth and brings a vast knowledge of Sports Psychology to The Physical Performance Hub, allowing us to support you and help you Optimise Your Performance.

Liam Bartlett
Physical Performance Coach
Liam has been working in professional football since 2021, and currently works at AFC Bournemouth as a Sports Scientist alongside his work with The Physical Performance Hub. Liam brings extensive knowledge and experience of Sports Science and Strength & Conditioning from a Premier League Academy to The Hub. Liam is also embarking on a journey to become an accredited sports nutritionist, enhancing his holistic approach to developing athletes. With Liam’s experience in professional football, along with his degree in Sports Development from Bournemouth University, Liam offers you the keys to unlocking your potential and Optimising Your Performance.

Joe Lindley
Physical Performance Coach
Joe has been working with elite athletes since 2021 and has worked across a wide range of sports, from Football, Rugby and tennis, all the way to Ultimate Frizbee and Triathletes.
Joe is the Head Coach for the Winchester Weightlifting Club and currently works for London and South Central Rugby Academy (formerly London Irish), alongside his work at the Physical Performance Hub. Joe's coaching philosophy has stemmed from his work coaching Youth Athletes and has a broad range of knowledge and an excellent skill set which gives him the tools to enhance the performance of any athlete, no matter their experience or sport.

Matt Best
Sports Therapist - Consultant
Matt has been working in professional football for almost a decade with AFC Bournemouth and more recently at Portsmouth FC where he has recently established himself as 1st Team Sports Therapist.
Matt has a keen interest in rehabilitation and has an abundance of experience within injury management for a wide range of athletes. Matt has worked within Academy and 1st team football in both the men's and women's game.
Matt boasts a unique skill set as a Sports Therapist, with the addition of his Strength and Conditioning education and experience, allowing Matt to oversee someone's entire journey from onset of injury, to return to play and beyond. Matt will always build a programme around the person being treated, taking into account as many factors as possible to suit any goal and improve all aspects of performance.
