Jordan Tyrer

Physical Performance Coach & Founder of The Hub

Jordan has been working in professional football since 2014. He has worked in Premier League, English Football League, Women’s Super League and Women's Championship Clubs and Academies, as well as The F.A. In 2020, Jordan started The Physical Performance Coach Ltd. to bring those experiences and knowledge to anyone who needs help with optimising their performance. Having helped hundreds of athletes of all ages over the last decade, Jordan is highly experienced and offers a wide range of services from 1-to-1 S&C sessions, bodyfat assessments, growth and maturation testing, GPS analysis and more.

Liam Bartlett

Physical Performance Coach

Liam has been working in professional football since 2021, balancing his work with The Hub alongside working at AFC Bournemouth as a Performance Coach. Liam also runs Crafted Powr, a company bringing knowledge and expertise from a Premier League Academy's Performance Department to athletes who need and want support. Liam is also embarking on a journey to become an accredited sports nutritionist, enhancing his holistic approach to developing athletes. Liam provides The Hub with ability to offer nutritional support and advice to the athletes we work with, meaning that every aspect of an athletes performance is optimised in a bespoke and specific way for each and every athlete.

Joe Lindley

Physical Performance Coach

Joe has been working with elite athletes since 2021 and has worked across a wide range of sports, from Football, Rugby and tennis, all the way to Ultimate Frizbee and Triathletes.

 

Joe is the Head Coach for the Winchester Weightlifting Club and currently works for London Irish, alongside his work at the Physical Performance Hub. Joe's coaching philosophy has stemmed from his work coaching Youth Athletes and has a broad range of knowledge and an excellent skill set which gives him the tools to enhance the performance of any athlete, no matter their experience or sport.

Sam Chapman

Physical Performance Coach

After a short spell in semi-professional football, Sam began working with aspiring athletes in 2012; first with middle-distance runners and bobsleigh athletes associated with the GB development squads, before holding roles with the first team squads at AFC Bournemouth and Southampton FC.

In 2015, Sam expanded his services to the field of private performance coaching, driven by the belief that no athlete should be withheld access to the knowledge and tools experienced by professionals playing at the highest levels of their sport. Since then, Sam has worked to provide the very best training to athletes of all ages; regardless of their team, their sport, or their level of competition.

During this time, Sam has collaborated with organisations such as GB Wheelchair Rugby and elite academies like Hampshire County Cricket and Harlequins Rugby. He continues his involvement in football as the Head of Strength & Conditioning at National League South side Salisbury Football Club.

About - Francesca Dean

Francesca Dean

Trainee Sports Psychologist

Fran has been working in professional football since 2016. Having first started work at Southampton Football club, Fran then joined AFC Bournemouth in 2018 and has been there ever since, helping players across all ages of the academy and supporting their development. She is about to complete her PhD in Sport Psychology at the University of Bournemouth and brings a vast knowledge of Sports Psychology to The Physical Performance Hub, allowing us to support you and help you Optimise Your Performance.

Matt Best

Sports Therapist & Rehab Specialist

Matt has been working in professional football for almost a decade with AFC Bournemouth and more recently at Portsmouth FC where he has recently established himself as 1st Team Sports Therapist. 

Matt has a keen interest in rehabilitation and has an abundance of experience within injury management for a wide range of athletes. Matt has worked within Academy and 1st team football in both the men's and women's game. 

Matt boasts a unique skill set as a Sports Therapist, with the addition of his Strength and Conditioning education and experience, allowing Matt to oversee someone's entire journey from onset of injury, to return to play and beyond. Matt will always build a programme around the person being treated, taking into account as many factors as possible to suit any goal and improve all aspects of performance.

  • Blood Flow Restriction Training

  • Dry Needling
